The task we were given was to write a text and highlight the causal connectives in red and the temporal connectives in blue.

The jungle is a humid place with all sorts of animals prowling around searching for any food at all. They pray trying to survive because of all the predators lurking in the depth of the tall and mysterious trees. In the evening when all of the creatures are tired and asleep the jungle falls asleep with them. The roaring of the big cats softens in the wind. The scattering of all the insects stops as the hurry back into their nests. The morning came, finally the animals awake with the sun. Noise rises as life fills the jungle once again. The cycle continues on as the jungle thrives.  Even though the jungle is a harsh and vicious place it still the most beautiful habitat imaginable. With the warm orange sun beaming down on the land and all of the greenery flourishing around the jungle. All of the majestic animals playing and  crawling around. The creatures with amazing details and colours rule the land as they make new homes and nests in their life cycles. they pray hiding in the green leaves meanwhile the predators are munching away on their food. once again the animal sleep, in the deep dark jungle.
